Privacy Policy

Ambex Projects Inc. ("Ambex," "we," "us") collects personal information through this website to answer quote requests. This policy explains what we collect, why, and which companies help us handle it. As an Alberta company, we follow Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), and the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) where it applies.

Information we collect

When you send a quote request, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the type of client you are, and the details you give us about your property or project.

We also record how you reached the site, for example a Google search or a link from our Instagram page, so we know which channels people use to find us.

How we use it

We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotes, and communicate about work you've requested. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Spam protection

Our quote request form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block automated spam. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and browser data, and sends it to Google for analysis. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that information.

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It uses no cookies and does not identify you. We see totals, such as how many people opened the Services page in a given week.

Service providers outside Canada

Three companies based in the United States help us run this website and handle your request. Vercel hosts the site and processes form submissions and visit counts, Google runs reCAPTCHA, and Porkbun delivers our email. Your information may be stored or processed in the United States as a result. To ask how these providers handle your information, write to our Privacy Officer at info@ambexprojects.ca.

Data retention

We keep contact information only as long as we need it to handle your request or to serve you as an active client.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing info@ambexprojects.ca. If our answer doesn't satisfy you, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
